I wish it was in Japanese..

That's the one word that describes this first episode, in my opinion. "Cute." And not in a bad way. I laughed a lot at the comedic moments, and the characters are somewhat charming. Can they be endearing, though? Can an entire series based on baseball keep me interested the whole way through? I'm not much of a baseball fan, but this first episode already did a great job at keeping my attention piqued. I'll stay tuned and see if this series has more to offer. I'm hoping it ramps up the action pretty soon!

Watched this on Crunchy Roll until the end some time ago. Before they took it down. Not a huge fan of the voice acting, naturally, but they do what they can. Glad they kept the same opening sequence, This is a must watch for any fan of baseball, or just a decent, well rounded Manga/Anime.One thing to note, the artist/author for the original series was a Shoujo artist (More Feminine Manga/Anime) so the characters and tones of the series have a more emotion than you're run of the mill Sports Anime/manga. It's a nice balance though, pulled off nicely.

This is a pretty good it reminds me of that movie the sandlot. I think the good thing about this show is all the characters personality's they are all unique in there own way but yeah this is pretty good 5 stars

I'm pretty picky about the things I watch, especially when it comes to Anime now-a-days, but this series is very unique and very well worth watching. There aren't enough series anymore that focus on the power of teamwork and friendship. It's a great start to what appears to be a great series, and I hope that others can enjoy it as much as I do. It really does make me want to go out and join a baseball team, even though I know I would suck.Thanks for hosting, Hulu, and Happy 1st Birthday!I'm looking forward to its DVD Release in August. lol, I too was waiting for this to come out. I love this show! I'm not even an athlete, but this series always makes me want to go out and play baseball haha. The dub's pretty good too. Thank you Funimation and Hulu, you guys made my day!
