Could you imagine an episode like this on a TV show aimed at white children? There would be a huge outcry about presenting a teenage mother - even though teenage mothers of all backgrounds exist and children know that. Instead, the Fat Albert show decided to show children the truth of the world they live in. They presented it honestly and in a way that is appropriate for children. On top of that, it kept even this adult entertained. This is quality television. You bet that if I have children of my own they'll watch this show!
