IT is absoulutely from beginging to end breath taking. nbc you effed up once again. you had gold and just flushed it down the toilet. so so sad you keep making these bad decisions. Nbc is a lot like salis... going after anything good and worthy of watching and killing it.

I LOVE this show. It is the only show I've had any interest in watching. It's crazy to me that it's being cancelled. :(

I can't get enough of this show, the signs, the spirituality, the politics, the love, hate, passion, all of this surrounded by opulence and power makes for plenty of entertainment. I literally can't wait for next weekend to see the next episode, anyone have a studio copy of the full season. And NBC better not leave me hanging and cancel this!

I really like the developing of the characters in this show. I think they canceled it but still had some filmed episodes. I hope there are enough to for a short first season and they rescue it for more seasons. One of the best episodes. I do love all the signs they are given.

This is going to be a great story, It would be so cool to see other storys from the Bible dapicked , as this one is in our, year to date.
I injoyed the hole Episode, but my fav-scene is no doubt the Butter Fly Crown.

This is a fresh new look at an old story! This brings plain ole TV into a new and epic realm. I hope to enjoy this televsion drama for many entertaining seasons.!

As seems obvious from just a few minutes of viewing, "kings" is a modern day retelling of the biblical account of young David. The characters, such as the aged King Silas, or "Saul", closely model the personalities found in the original bible telling. The story goes even so far to introduce a modern day Goliath, faithfully reenacted in this rendition by a tank. I found the plot to be fresh, but predictable, having known the story of David and Goliath, but at the same time this in no way detracted from the quality of the show. Deeply riveting and at times quite epic, this show is cinematic in its scope and seems to be more of a Hollywood blockbuster rather than a new tv drama. I highly recommend more than a simple passing glance at this show and i am excited to find out where the directors and producers will take us next, whether this show will follow the logical biblical progression or divert into realms unexplored and remake this story into something new and very much its own.
