Yeah but I never think of the whole "woah this was "based" on a true story" because it doesn't make me believe any of the events were true. I agree the the based on a true story line is hackneyed and needs to be put to rest but I just ignore it now and focus on the movie. See 4 other replies

Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated with the mafia and organized crime, and Johnny Depp is my favorite actor. The fact that Christain Bale, another of my favorite actors, is in it as well, makes it even better. John Dillinger is one of the great bank robbers I have loved reading about. I cannot wait to see this movie...I'll probably sliently screech to myself through the whole thing!!!! After I see it, the 4 stars will most likely go to five.............

btw: bonnie and clyde is NOT the original....bonnie parker and clyde barrow are two totally separate criminals/people.

The real problem is is that this movie is based upon a book that is notorious amongst historians as unfactual. It's crap. See 4 other replies
