Like the title says.. it was alright. first 10 minutes, i didn't really think i'd like it, but kept whatching and it turned out ok.
as with most if not all low budget movies, it had that "cheap" feel, like it was on public access tv or something. but the story wasn't half bad. Still not as good as existenz, which they actually mention in this movie (as a movie playing at a theater). .. of course existenz had a $30 mil budget (canadian dollars) but still, it was never a major blockbuster or anything.
if you like this, check out existenz, which is also a movie where people are in a virtual reality game and get the game and real life confused. and the 13th floor was another good movie that you'd probably like if you liked this. Both existenz and the 13th floor have more of a "professional" fell, like a movie you'd see in a theater.
