I realize that after watching these episodes over again. Since the last time I remember watching them was as a child in the 80's. That this was a losing war type of show. No matter how many beast they destroy, they will never be free. There will always be more, and since they do nothing to attack because Voltron is only used for defense, and in this case just this planet, they will never make any progress at this rate. I did love this show growing up, and am still enjoying it but it was a sad realization of the truth of this show...
