The last and final episode of the A-Team! What a bittersweet 47 minutes and 32 seconds. I agree with you Ike, this show ended far before its time, and just when it was starting to get its old flair back too! Of all the episodes in this final season, this is one of the best, right up there with "Family Reunion". I am glad that, while I do wish they had continued the series and ended at a completed fifth season (with a proper ending, perhaps having had them getting out from under the bonds of working as Stockwell's men); I think this episode provided for a high note ending (compared to many other shows that have been cancelled during their mid-seasons). Granted the previous episode made a lot more sense as a final episode (note Murdock's shirts and the way our boys talk at the end of "The Grey Team". Having noted that, I am happy that this episode aired as it was quite enjoyable. And yes, the beginning was indeed a direct rip off of "Holiday in the Hills". I confess that was a bit random. While the show is notorious for taking clips here and there from previous episodes to fill out their ‘current eps’, that was indeed a bit much to suspend disbelief for. Moving on...
...Having seen all the episodes of this fantastic show, I'm still in a bit of a cloud of disbelief. It can't really be over can it? All those amazing and over the top adventures and wise-cracks! Hannibal on the Jazz with a cigar in his mouth, Murdock's personalities and the multitude of t-shirts, Faceman's womanizing and cons, and B.A.'s arsenal of weaponized cars and his huggable antics around children & women alike. I'm going to miss these guys...and as it settles in, I supposed all that is left for one to do is that which is the most simple. Re-watch the series! ☺
And with such a plan, and in parting words that seem rather appropriately fitting for such an occasion, "I love it when a plan comes together"!
