Nicely made. Gorgeous cinematography. Truly makes me want to visit Canada. Although the struggles of the characters seem trivial compared to my own, it makes me realize that everyone has the same problems. The only real difference is the shapes and forms that these problems manifest themselves into. The tool use, although in a limited amount of shots, was realistic. I thought it was wise for the director NOT to push the envelope in this area. Few things seem more ridiculous to me than watching an actor hold a tool the wrong way, turn a wrench in the wrong direction, or use the wrong tool in general for a job. Apparently this Canadian film maker doesn't take the intelligence of their audience for granted. This I applaud!
While I'm not personally familiar with the actors, They were all exceptional! I am not a movie buff, but if all movies were made this well I would quickly become one!
I think Hollywood might want to start paying more attention to the Canadian movie industry because it seems to me that Hollywood is about to be left in the dust. (And I'm an American)
Bravo!
