____...And another guy does something clearly against his better judgment, for money. Would you translate a cursed text for a lot of money? Maybe it's better not to know some things.____A satanic little Cain-and-Abel melodrama with classic Vincent Price, lovable Bill Bixby (as Dr. David Bruce Banner in "The Incredlible Hulk," and Tim O'Hara in "My Favorite Martian"), and the lovely Patricia Serling, in an evil power triangle with a translator caught in the middle.____Rod Serling seems like a pretty scary guy, himself; wonder who Patricia Serling (Robert's wife) was to him? Sister-in-law? (Rod's wife was Carol; their children, Jody/Jodi and Nan; Rod's parents, Sam and Esther.) ____The hand-shaped wall sconces and other props, and the goat at dinner are fun. Yes, this is cheesy. It's TV history.____The dialog is disproportionately low volume in these, so your listening area has to be very, very quiet. Hulu needs to compress and even out all of its audio content.

While the effects may not be CGI--how wonderful! It is overall a very atmospheric episode. Sort of like a Price-Corman t..v. movie.
There is some slight humour--with the goat. Characteristic in some of Price's horror movies. But overall, an effective episode. Only the incantation where they were using the word: "Abracadabra" tended to be a bit hokey.
It really begged for a sequel. What of the brothers Evil; and the witch who sought greater power. Or Bill Bixby? Did he die with a smile; or did he rest power from the witch?
As I stated: I enjoyed the atmosphere and the plot. But the ending does require an episode 2.
They had several episodes of the Sixth Sense. It could have been easily done.
Mr Bixby did a couple of the Night Gallery. He could a done a few more--with Mr Price and the young lady.Welles

Does anybody know what this one about? A very very Strange one

This is one of the weakest Night Gallery episodes I ever saw.
The writing was horrible, with no character development at all, and idiotic, plastic-sounding dialogue.
The premise was silly, and once we knew that the sorcerer had hacked his twin to pieces, the ending was inevitable.
The sorceress was supposed to be seductive, but there was not an iota of chemistry between her or either male actor.
Vincent Price was reduced to a pallid cartoon of himself, and Bill Bixby had NO acting to do at all.
Poor writing, poor direction, weak acting all add up to a failure.

that's what the filmmakers and the producers don't get about horror these days...it's all gore and repulsive images. where's the seduction. evil at it's best should be mesmerizing and enticing.i have always loved vincent price and some of his best work was as a supporting actor like when he played the dogged district attorney and spurned but still faithful lover of gene teirney in leave her to heaven. he ate dana andrews alive when he had him on the witness stand and picked his sharp teeth with his bones. and then there's bill bixby. what's not to love about bill bixby. when i grew up watching him on the courtship of eddie's father, i wanted him to be my dad so bad. he brought such tortured angst to his portrayal as dr. david banner, the incredible hulk and no other actor has been able to replicate that vulnerability and sadness in any of the big screen adaptations of the incredible hulk character.lol...i wish i had vincent price as my occult mentor. what devilish webs we would weave.
