Initially, the Dollhouse concept didn't pique my interest, but I gave the show chance only because it has Joss Whedon behind it (I was a big fan of Buffy and Angel). As others have commented, the show started it off slow, but has really picked up speed in the last few episodes. I can't wait until the next episode comes out.

My dad makes fun of me - whenever I sit down to watch anything Joss Whedon had put his magical touch on, I start talking to my tv/computer. I can't shut-up! I'm laughing, crying, yelling; its just so amazing. Please, Fox, please - don't kill this one too!

I like Dollhouse. But my after watching the first two episodes it made me think of it as The Pretender meets La Femme Nikita (tv series). Not a bad thing, I loved both shows and Dollhouse is looking to be another favorite. The cast is engaging, who doesn't adore Eliza? And while the premise isn't exactly original it's fun. Joss makes tv watchable.

I missed the first two episodes, the show conflicts with another show I have TIVO’d.
However, thanks to Hulu I am now up to date, and i can keep up to date with all the upcoming episodes, without getting another TIVO box :).As with Buffy, Angel and Firefly; Dollhouse starts out slow, at first you'll be somewhat confused as to what's exactly happening. Until the Jossverse squiggle makers, slowly feed the entire story to you, while you are watch the characters develop.
Once your caught up with the story line and think you have things figured out with the story and characters, the squiggle makers’ and Mutant Enemy #1 will start to throw in the plot and character twists along with new characters/enemies. The story is somewhat inetersting so far, the acting is solid, Eliza is beautiful, sexy and just plain HOT, but of course, she and everyone else already knows that.I don’t know how Joss and his team does it and I don’t care, Mutant Enemy keeps cranking out some really enjoyable stories and characters, just stick with it and you’ll see.
Hopefully this time the FOX executive boneheads won’t screw with this show like they did with Firefly.In the words of Forrest Gump, “That’s all I have to say about that”Long live Mutant Enemy, Inc.

I'm hooked on Dollhouse already! As a Joss Whedon fan I'm so glade to see another show by him; after Firefly was canceled I was so bummed. Let alone the great casting; the fab and talented Eliza Dushku; the great girl who played Fred from Angel (sorry don't know your name); as well as Heilo from BattleStar Galactica (again sorry didn't catch your name either). Dollhouse has a fantastic and captivating story already. I love the mix of the modern day setting with technology that is a little out of reach; but that is plausible enough to give you that little shiver of "ohh that could actually happen." But that is the true testament to Mr. Whedon's creative visions; he can create these "worlds" that encompass the viewer so much that it is easy to believe they are real. So again; Kudos on the new show and i can't wait for more episodes.
