She is a bipolar freak who is in love with a dead person even though they were never a couple and he is a masochistic men who has better choices in life, but wants to keep being ignored and punished.....what a lame story. Maybe this is why the suicide rate in Japan is so high....if people are really this lame...

The reason I watched Suzuka is because I thought the track-and-field thing was really neat. I do soccer myself and used to be on the XC team, so I was interested. But my god, the two main characters were so annoying.Suzuka? A lot of people defend her by saying she's had a traumatic experience, and yeah, it was a traumatic experience, but the thing is: she was a total b!*** before Kazuki died. She was a b!*** to her friend, that chick with the long ponytail, and goodness knows she was a total b!*** to Yamato, even when he wasn't acting dorky. I mean, she said she didn't care about how he ran, insulted his form, never encouraged him, told him to quit running, made tons of snarky comments and was just plain rude 99.99% of the time. On top of that she only thinks about herself and is way too sensitive - notice how whenever somebody merely suggests she's doing something wrong, she has a hissy fit? She just has a horrible personality, plain and simple.I thought Yamato was kinda dorky, and although he means well, I'll never get why he's so into Suzuka. She's cute and her commitment to her sport is inspiring, but it all ends there. Glad I'm done watching this.... won't rewatch, that's for sure. In the romance area, this was horrible.

The acting is just awful I caught myself wincing at most of the things they said. The characters are just plain anonnoying and found myself getting really mad at alot of little things. The only thing that redeemed it was the plot was very good and I love the ending, dramtic but better than most......it was really cute, except that annoying song.

This anime was ok. i hated suzuka not because she was an emotional psycho but because she never saw her faults. the sad thing is there are some girls out there that would think by watching this anime its alright to treat boys this way... its not. and Yamato omg really, i understand enduring for one you love but please have some balls. there are better anime out there with strong female character and excellent male leads and it ends as an anime should Kaichou wa Maid-sama for one. i think honestly as this is the first time i watched an anime and wanted to write someone and tell them off. as a female i think this was crap and as one who has a crush on the same guy going on 3 years in high school its exhausting to watch.
