Wow! Very impressed! Story execution, camera work and directing captured the authentic qualities of a Japanese samaurai story. Surprising to see this level of quality in choreography of the fighting scenes in an indie film.
Interestingly, this film could work as a scene in a larger movie. It's got a plot that would work as a sub-plot to a longer work.
The intro scene was artisticly-inspiring and gave the sense of one of the Japanese anime films I've seen. The producers/directors seem like they've done this type of film dozens of times already. They have the camera moves down pat. The editing was tight and on-cue. The music was authentic to augment the story. Even the plot, in it's limited scope was working in this short film.
Bravo to the creators of this film!
