Great cinematography and direction in this episode. Delightful guest appearance by Paul Blackthorne, 2007's wizard Harry Dresden on "The Dresden Files." I'll have to check out his appearances in the Oscar-nominated Bollywood film "Lagaan" (2001), and more recently, in the 2010 series "CSI: Miami," "White Collar," and "The Gates."
Lots of fun ensues when Mr. Monk's germ phobia meets a frightening disease, with a little lesson about modern medicine, prejudice and compassion on the side. Plot twists worthy of HItchcock. Great detective stories and acting plus endearing humor--this series has it all.
