Probably the greatest 21 minutes of comedy I have ever watched in my entire life. So original and unpredictable. If you find this boring you can go back to watching 2 and a half men.

I am a HUGE fan of The State, and I think this show is hysterical. Not only is it funny, it's the funniest episode in the whole series. I know this type of humor isn't for everyone, but I adore it.

The 3 Stooges had more sophisticated humor and was funnier. My 5th grader tells wittier jokes. How did this POS ever make it on to film?

the problem with making an intentionally ridiculous show, is that if you make it just a hair too ridiculous, you have a ridiculous bad show, and if you make it a hair not ridiculous enough, you have a two-hair-less ridiculous show.

No no, everyone, I GET that it's intentionally absurd, and takes random 180's at all times, but that doesn't mean it works. A show must stick in your mind in more than a confusing jumble, and if the characters aren't the focus (which, here, they are not), then at least the actors must endear themselves to the viewer, which they didn't. I feel very neutral about these comedians and their show, so it's clear the show is flat.You can't take someone's judgement of a comedy piece as bad, to mean that the judge only wants early-nineties-style sitcoms. There are many many different types of comedy and I sincerely doubt anyone confuses Stella's style with Two and Half Men's. This particular piece just didn't work. A lot of other shows ALSO don't work, and they stay on the air for many season's, but with this, it's off-the-beaten-path intent, and lack of just-right moments of hilarity, I can see why it didn't survive.

I'd heard about Stella, and I love Michael Ian Black, but watching this was torture. Maybe it gets better at some point, but I found it awkward and choppy.
