And I love it. They rip on every theatre/film/TV trope imaginable, and then add a slice of random goofiness on top.

Why did they replace Rashida Jones with a red head?

The Pilot had more of a parallel mirror image thing with the men & women.

Three like them but opposite living directly under them.

If Rashida Jones was too busy or too expensive to be cast after the Pilot was picked up, they should have replaced her with another brunette.

Unless the red head is some producer's mistress or daughter.

A few gems from this particular episode:
-The 'Little Rascals' ('Gee!','Nuts') bits
-The whole JFK vibe that Michael Ian Black does in the beginning, at the campaign 'head quarters'
-How Harper Collins publishes trashy tell-alls (they SO do!).
If none of this sounds remotely amusing to you, skip the show. It's as simple as that.

'Stella' is stuffed with pop culture references. The show parodies just about anything it can get its hands on. It's a shame that there are so many apparent haters of this show- instead of complaining-repeated- why not just not watch the show?

i really wanted to like this show. i've watched just about everything i like on hulu and needed a new show to watch while i eat dinner. this show almost made me puke just because its so annoying, and i'm not exaggerating. i'm sorry. i know there are some die hard fans, but i really cant take this. i think i'll just watch a rerun of the Mighty Boosh on adultswim.com

I keep getting distracted by how great all the Danish Modern furniture is. There isn't a piece of it that isn't at least 40 years old. wonder who got it aftr the show got canceled?
