Well by the same token, it was stupid to think you're going to outrun the cop when he's already got his hands on you, and there's a canine unit right there. I don't care if you're the fastest man in the world, you're not outrunning that dog.

the clip only shows the pot being found. Its not impossible for there to have been something else.

I think once the kid saw the police officer in his poor phisical condition, he could out run him. Command presence is not only how one acts verablly but through phisical presence and body language. This can make the diffrence on how a person reacts to the police.
This police office is obliviously good at what he does despite his phisical conditioning. Best of luck to him.
I would have complied simply because of the dog (I did not see a Taser).
