Im 17 and i love smoke weed because it helps my autism, anger, anxiety, etc. I don't understand why marijuana is illegal if it helps people like me. People should hate on subjects that they don't understand. Honestly, the anti-marijuana propaganda politicians and news reporters put into people's head's is ridiculous. bottom line, im an advocate for the legalization of pot.

I know this is video is older, but I'm pretty sure that marijuana has always been illegal in the Netherlands. They allow it in coffee shops, but street dealing is illegal, and it is illegal for coffee shops to advertise. Like package stores in the states. So when the reporter says that it is completely legal in Amsterdam at 22:21, she is an idiot. And if it is true that the only reason marijuana is illegal is because of the whole "hemp makes better clothes and paper products" that is very ridiculous. I think that anyone who is against marijuana and drinks alcohol or smokes cigarettes is a hypocrite. Those substances are way more dangerous than marijuana and yet are legal because of the revenue they generate. Marijuana most likely supplements the economy way more than either of those and is illegal.

This is exactly the kind of programming that reinforces the false propaganda set up by the US government to scare Americans on the "dangers" of Marijuana. What happened to the days when journalists were at least somewhat educated on the stories they covered? She referred to Marijuana as if it is some kind of toxic alien substance. The hostess's negative attitude when prying in to the private business figures of the growers/sellers was enough to rate this as bad media. I personally wouldn't have agreed to meet with NBC in the first place, but as they say "Any publicity is good publicity." Also, what is this about being "normal"? Is she implying that as being involved in the industry (growing/selling/educating/using) that one isn't considered a normal American person? What a Load! Since when do Mexican drug cartels dispatch gangs of illegal immigrants into US Parks to grow small-time pot gardens? WTF
