Would the Emerald Triangle have all this crime if Marijuana was legal?? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! Lets look at history. Prohibition. Enough said. The reason we have these violent crimes is because the government has made it illegal. If it was able to be grown anywhere then there would be no need for crime. Who ever wanted it could grow it, the demand would go WAAAAY down and to rob someone for their MJ would be pointless. If MJ/Hemp was legal the largest smuggling problem we have would be nearly eliminated. Of course we would still have cocaine and other drugs crossing our boarders but MJ is highest volume. When MJ/Hemp becomes legal I think the big money will be in the industrial side of this amazing plant. Here are a list of some of the products that can be made hemp of course we all know fabrics & ropes but did you know that there are hundreds if not thousands of environmentally friendly products that can be made from hemp.....
lubricants, paints, inks, fuel, plastics, soaps, shampoos, detergents. These are just a few items from the oil from the hemp seed.

When the people who want to grow it can grow it legally, then making money from the recreational use will go way down. This will naturally take care of a majority of the crime issues caused by the illegality of it. A follow up show is needed to show how good MJ/Hemp will be for our country/world.
