show to be this good! I had heard about it too. But the last thing I wanted to see was a tv show about high school football. I didn't even see the movie for the same reason(s). But now I get it. This is so emotional and raw! I also love the way the scenes are shot...the camera movement, the close ups. Excellent!
squallx13: Although the Applebee's was pure product placement. It still seemed authentic. As a Southerner, those chain restaurants are true settings where people go for a weekday dinner and often run into other families that they know. Not sure what Texas city this is (Austin, I think?!) but it actually made the scene more authentic for me.
