I really love this show. The writing and acting are amazing, and I love the relationships between all of the characters. It all feels so true and realistic, I feel more like I'm watching a documentary than a fictional show.

A little cliche' but...
Not as bad as some of the really nasty comments made just before mine. It was a touch predictable, but I think it was still pretty good. I mean zombielegbiter & the_revolver... what did you really expect? It's a show about football. Football is americana chest beating and gladiatorial combat. Did you see the movie? There was definitely some parallel and that might be where it was predictable. It's early yet, but I plan on watching more episodes to see how it goes. So far, it is pretty good. 4 stars.

Really? This is the show I've heard so much acclaim for?
I'm sorry. I'm really not a person without taste. I love other critical favorites like Arrested Development and LOST, but I just don't get it. I heard this was a great drama, even for people who don't like football but that was one of the most boring pilots I have ever seen...and I don't hate football! The characters have no depth (yet, that might change), nothing really happens, and you can predict how the game is going to go from the second the quarterback gets injured. I really mean no disrespect but I just don't get why this is supposed to be something special. Is it just me?
