"The Loss Of Nameless Things"... Without hesitation... Five Stars!
I found it to be a thoughtful, interesting and touching documentary of the remarkable life of Oakley Tad Hall III.
It's a story that's beautifully told and it's straight from the mouths of the people who were there with him.
As someone who loves acting, writing and the theatre... I found it inspiring in a few ways. I'm inspired to immediately seek out Tad's work and read it - for one thing. And, I'm inspired to continue my own writing (and to perhaps start wearing a helmet when I'm skateboarding).
It's a very poignant story. I sympathize with those who grieved the loss of the man they knew, for it is definitely a grieving process.
And, it's heart-warming. I'm very thankful to see that people have come into Tad's life who truly accept who he is... now... and who are supportive of who he is becoming.
Thank You, Bill Rose. Thank You, Tad. Thank You, LCT. Thank You, Independent Lens. Thank You (Always!), PBS. And, Thank You, Hulu.
