this video saddened me deeply. I have learned about Sikhism in India and have many Sikh friends. I don't blame the people who were pissed on 9-11 as I was one of them. Nonetheless, as a Hindu who happens to be brown, I have def have experienced hate against me. I guess this is a time for education. India has a huge mix b/w Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhist, Muslims, and even some Jews. It is a diverse community. Pakistan our neighbor to the left (west) is predominately Muslim (99%). It is a fact that most of the attackers on 9-11 had been trained/radicalized in Pakistan or at some point were harbored there. Whats interesting to me is that India and Pakistan have been at war since the beginning of Pakistan as a nation. On the front-line for India's army, are mostly SIKHS! They have been fighting radical Islam and terrorism in India for half a century. That's why hate against Sikhs is just ironic to me. I truly praise Sikh bravery, courage, and strength. If only every1 in the US knew how many Sikh people have actually fought and died against radical Islam, they would be praised rather than treated so poorly. There has been a 6000% increase in crimes against Sikhs after 9-11. I do understand that they may be confused with Muslims who also in many countries wear a turbine and sport the beard. Regardless, I find Sikhism to be really amazing, personally. Please note I don't mean any disrespect against Muslims as I do have Muslim friends. Nonetheless, i do feel RADICAL islam is not a religion but is a disease of the world, just like RADICAL anything. alright, im done just had to get that off my chest...
