I am a white male from Texas and I WAS a republican, until ol' George W. Showed up. I wasn't a huge fan of Obama either until I heard him at all the debates. After seeing how he OWNED McCain, I had to vote for Mr. Obama. I know that there could have been a better candidate (HILLARY) but the campaign was messy and down right UGLY. I'm surprised to see a Person survived all that. While MLK's Drem is almost come true, it's not quite there. I say this because some (Americans) still think it's 1950 we still have some White Power KKK members among us. While I do believe in free speech I also believe in equality. I was raised in a very diverse neighborhood in Chicago then in St. Louis and made my way down to Texas. In my years (28) I have made plenty of different colored friends, I don't think skin color should deter anyone from making friends. I respect all their religous beliefs as most of them practice other things like hindoism,catholicism, and Lutheran,Baptist, and so on. I must insist you all take a different look at the person next to you that is of different race. Ask yourself why do I wanna hate someone I DON'T know? I want you all to think of this. Obama is an incredible person to turn someone like me, (a republican) into a die hard Obama (democratic) supporter. This man will rival the legacy of all 43 of his predecessors. I personally think He'll be the best President ever.
