Thank God for Gordon Ramsey. He is really proving that people will rip you off. and leave all these fast talking chefs alone wealthy people. They will drain you until your business falls to the ground . and guess what? off they go to a new start while someone files bankrupt.Chef has understood whats really going on with people restaurants. These people depend and rely too much on the chef, general manager,. and management..... Why pay a person who cant bring in customers. And these fools literally go bankrupt. (The whole business get shut down !). because they are depending on a chef.when you hire someone to run your business. if they do not clean, fire them ! If its a problem . don't even ask why . just make them leave .*Note* Self owned family businesses need to learn to prep and cook their own food . because you never know when you have to hire or fire. and reteach And seriously if your not doing it chef way(Gordon Ramsey) . or serving an army of people . don't do fine dining . Everyone should really stick with the steak house. Once you learn to cook better. the menu can definitely get more creative
its ashamed the way people sit on the clock and do nothing.
So many people trying to do this franchise!!!! what is going on America . cant you see McDonald's killing people what makes it so bad. There food is not fresh . Too many people are trying to make a mass product of something . or using too many shortcuts . its very hideous .
Chef has inspired me really not to eat anywhere. Unless its fresh food. we are getting served all this , over processed food. restaurants are freezing fresh food ! The kitchen food is not getting rotated. mess mess mess . and omg disgusting. These places have too many problems. more than a million restaurants have no business being open . And chef should have to check everyone restaurant. He needs to write a new policy . maybe America will lose weight.
Serious there is no reason for me to go out and eat. fast food . i may get a pizza . but im not going tono fast food. no all you can eat. no hot dog stand . NONE!
Do you know if you have fresh food , you only have to order so much prep a day . and you can even go up on your prices. and your food will sell. you will definitely make the truck order money off the customers first order.
If no one doesn't know the difference taste between frozen and fresh . They need to find a new career!
But you do also have to take into account the drive of most of the owners of the "fine dining" restaurants. They're in the business to make as much money as they can and they don't care who they're screwing over or killing to get that.When I worked in a small hole in the wall restaurant which did serve some nice food, (but wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless I was still in the kitchen.) I made sure that the fridges were cleaned, somewhat organized (I only say somewhat because we in the kitchen knew what and where everything was and how old it was, but to a person just getting on the job would have zero idea.), and food got out not only promptly but to the best tasting that I was able to. However there were things that were out of my control like the deliveries of different ingredients, like mushrooms, lemons, meats etc... Which were ordered in mass quantities and left in the fridge. We did freeze what we should and could have but there would always be a box of mushrooms or lemons or cucumbers that would go bad, and my manager really didn't care and would actually yell when half a box of 'n' item would be thrown out because of a few bad ones.But to keep from rambling yeah, I'm just like you. I RARELY go out to eat with the occasional something quick before school or dinner out with family or a large group of friends on special occasions. But I'm picky as to where I would go and what I'd get.
Just know not all of us Americans like to shovel garbage down our gullets and pay way too much money for so called "fine dining".
