Not that I had high hopes for a movie named "Donkey Punch," but I was willing to take a shot (so to speak) after hearing good things about the movie from other people who like tense, psychological thrillers.
In fact, I was tempted to give this movie 3 stars. The acting is decent, especially Sian Breckin's performance. The plot moves along nicely and builds towards it's climax well, although Oliver Blackburn's direction is sometimes distracting.
The biggest problem with this film is that all the characters are utterly unlikable. Even the "victim" is unsympathetic. In the end, I found myself watching the film solely to see how these pathetic wastes of highly attractive flesh would meet their entirely well earned deaths. Even then, the end seemed hollow and unsatisfying.
