I saw the film MILK, and loved it, but there's a difference between seeing events that happened acted out, and actually seeing real footage, events, and the real person. Harvey Milk's star was dimmed way too soon, and watching things like this make you wish that you can change what you know has already happened. It saddens me to know the discrimination, and narrow mindness that people faced at that time. They were brave and fearless. The saddest thing to me is there still is a lack of acceptance and tolerance in this country. We've seen what hatred can do, you would think that we would learn from history... I wonder what he would've accomplished, we'll never know.
