The animation reminds me of Disney land's animatronics, The characters lumber across the screen or repeat hand and face gestures with no other body movement. Lots of stiff and jerky movement that defy logic.What is truly sad is that even modern american cartoons fall victim to the same cheap animation tactics. I am a fan of quality animation, but there is so few good american animation companies, I guess that is why CG has taken off so well it is easier to make good looking animation.Anyways I never really liked He-man he wasn't a team player, I was a Voltron / Robotech fan.

So I always have mixed feelings about the older cartoons I used to watch as a kid. I loved them in the day, but when I watch them again I can't even believe I used to. Word of advice to all those wanting to relive their childhood memories. I usualy do not go back and watch them because they end up screwing up my good memories of childhood cartoon watching. Every time I watch a clasic, any of them that I used to love Thundercats, G.I. Joe, etc it just makes them a little dissapointing. But it goes to show how much I have changed over the years and how much cartoons have changed too.So mixed reviews from me here, I loved em but now I dont see how any child the age I was when these aired could even watch these and enjoy them LOL.BTW I loved the after school special words of wisdom at the end from He-Man!!!

Where's the freakin' volume?

I only have vague memories of watching this on Saturday mornings when I was younger. I'm a little surprised that they just sort of jump into the action here with the first episode without any sort of development on how HE-Man and the rest of them all got started, but oh well. Still a good show.

this is nothing but a classsic i love this show.
