I am not sure how this is going to end but apparently NOBODY else has noticed this. This series while not doing a episode by episode remake of the first series, does have a hell of a lot in common with the original series. For example...super weapon, developed in secret, clones, The Pegasus ,Running out of food, going through a nebulae that could seriously hurt/kill them, political games with the Quorum of the 12. My point is that most of what was in the original series has also been here except...wait for it....Terra. I don't think that the "Earth" they discovered is the real one. In the Terran Episodes, the people of Terra were were just a hair's width of committing planetary suicide by killing each other off. Now, they have already said that of the final 5, only 4 of them were in the fleet. The other aspect of the original series that is missing is the whole flying christmas tree decoration, super advanced alien people;) This could have been reimagined into the whole spirituality, ghost in the machine aspect. Having Starbuck be even a partial cylon is too pat (And I think the good dr. would have realized something was afoot with her when she was "in the hospital back on Caprica"). Plus, Hera is supposed to be the first Cylon/Human child. Which does beg the question...WTF is up with Calley and Tyrol's kid then? If you go back through the series, you will see that the final 5 lead them to Earth, not 4 will get you to a shelled out ruin.
