Is Ann Todd too old to play "Sylvia?" She was only two years younger (b. 1909) than John McIntire (b. 1907), who plays her father. Hitchcock's intro talks about teenagers and their middle-aged parents. Is she supposed to be a teenager?!! She would have been about 50 at the time!
