warch previous episodes first and learn about the supernatuiral
it was well thought out but you must watch a lot of earlier episodes for the subtle hints and previous elusions to earlier events and dimes if you saw the others you would have seen a scene where Lucas and Caleb had a discussion about souls and consciences and the Doctor doesnt believe Lucas is the Devil and has a full conscience and a good soul hence he couldnt let Lucas die when he knew he could save him and the writers did a great job it is a show about good and evil and peoples souls and consciences if he would have let him die the entire balance would be off. come on people if your gonna watch horror and dupernatural please learn about it first and stop getting good shows taken of the air because you dont A LIKE THE GENRE or understand. im so sick of the horror suspense dramas being slasher / nudity /and sex and mindless droll fests fests. Horror is of the mind / thanks for reading the rant

Don't make any sense
If the doc wanted Lucas dead, why would he take Lucas to the hospital and SAVE his life? Come on. Writers like this should never work again.
