Angelus' name was Liam. They never did say, to my recollection, what Darla's name was before the Master turned her, just that it became a popular name in the 18th or 19th centuries. She had been Darla long before she sired Liam, a.k.a., Angelus, whom she named for his angelic face. Or so they said to the Master when Darla brought her new pet to meet her sire. Yep, I'm a dork.
