old Dragnet better, and that's not saying much

Jack Webb leaves some big shoes to fill ...
... and without his presence as the super-straight, by-the-book Joe Friday this is just another cop show. "Funny" supporting bits are reminiscent of the original, but this show is super low budget - - we don't even get the "Dragnet March" theme music !

The Plumber
First time I've watched this show. The acting leaves a lot to be desired. Their feeble attempt at humor should have been left out. The original Dragnet makes this show a pure amateur show. In time, maybe they will improve. Don't know until I watch a few more episodes. So far, I give it a two thumbs down.
