I found it hard to find this funny. I understand paranoia, but Monk is so self-centered, the humor gets stale. (The formula is getting tiresome.) Treating people like dirt—literally—is hard to laugh at. He treats Natalie like his personal slave without any consideration as to her needs or feelings. I find it difficult to believe he treated Trudy any differently. He doesn't seem capable of loving anyone but himself. Natalie needs to give him a sharp slap up 'side his head and tell him to get over himself. Now, that would be funny!
