This woman, and her stream-of-consciousness "insights," is of course a total joke. Yet we see it continue today, although many astrologers now call themselves "psychics." I enjoyed watching her make up things as she went along and then, realizing how it looked to viewers, glanced down at her phony planet-signs notes.More importantly, though, she missed so many major events. As mentioned above, she incorrectly predicted that RFK would be elected in 1972.But she also failed to predict: 1) RFK's assassination, 2) former Michigan Gov. Romney's massive failure to secure the 1968 Republican presidential nomination; and 3) Nixon's presidency (and resignation).Out of fairness, she did correctly predict that Johnson would not run for re-election in 1968 and that Reagan would become California governor. But at that point, the Johnson prediction was not a big leap -- and she failed to tell us that Reagan would unsuccessfully run for president in 1976 but would win in both 1980 and 1984. Surely, if astrology were a science, she would have known all those things about Reagan, not just the first one.I was going to Google her name to see if she divorced the man whom she was married to when the show was taped, but she's not worth my time. She had said that she married him only because astrology told her that theirs would be a successful marriage.Something, maybe the planets, tells me that their marriage likely did fall apart at some later date.
