That's just her voice. I'm so used to it having watched just about every episode of Buffy and Angel, and I'm pretty sure it was higher and breathier then. Especially when she was preggers with Angel's baby.

anna you hit the nail on the head of what about her character creeps me out. is it just me or does it feel like she is hitting on the male students? the way her eyes look when dealing with male students reminds of me of the bedroom eyes my girls gives me. not that bedroom eyes creep me out, however they do when im watching a mid to late 30's woman who is a. a guidance councilor. b. an fbi agent mke those eyes at what are supposed to be 16 yr old children. not that these kids are ugly but i mean theyre kids....and thats just creepy to me.

she's made an appearance on the last three shows i've watched. Buffy and Angel, obviously, and she was on an episode of Sliders and now this show. It took me awhile to get used to her but now i really like her.

I guess I've been so used to this actress that it doesn't bother me. She just has one of those soft voices, like you could imagine her being a Kindergarten or Elementary school teacher.I've been seeing this actress a lot lately. Some movie I watched, this show, and Dexter.

I always find Max very mysterious despite knowing that he's like Clark Kent. Behind all that mystery, I feel a darker Max lurking, waiting until if he gets pushed too hard by the people around him that his inner anger will finally be unleashed... or something shorter and less dramatic, lol.
