Yes Man

I truly enjoyed the movie. It was much better than I was expecting. It's certainly not going to win any awards, but it's more entertaining than anything I've seen lately. And yes, it's a gimmick-based romantic comedy, but it's done well enough to not be too obvious about it.

This movie is so good. I just couldnt spot laughing through the whole movie.

This movie is really fantastic, the humor is relation based. I think all of us can see the tiniest bit of ourselves in one of the main characters. It keeps you laughing without having to rely on toilet humor. It also gets a message across to you without seeming preachy, it even makes fun of itself at points.

If you are someone with a good sense of humor, and the tiniest bit of adventure in your blood you will like this movie.

I love Jim Carrey + Zoey Deschanel. They're both brilliant on their own...but whoever directed this turd is probably a real no-nuts doosh. If you can't get those two actors to release and act comfortably....there's something wrong behind the camera.

Terrible acting throughout. Terrible Story. Terrible lighting. Terrible cinematography. and Terrible overall vision.

A few cheap laughs. But in the end...the dynamic between the two was awful and forced.

If you want to see these two in something good, watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Eulogy, Truman Show, and Elf.

Sounds like a regurgitation of Liar Liar to me. It's at least just another gimmick-based romantic comedy. I imagine most people will have difficulty building up enthusiasm or will to give this movie a chance. Oh my gosh, maybe I shouldn't be such a No Man! See 3 other replies
