You can conclude that THE PRESIDENT along with the various branches of our government over the past 8 years sat back and opted-out of their #1 responsibility: running our country. Part of that job includes holding those parties that resulted in our current crisis "responsible." (Of course, if you don't know what it means to be responsible, it's hard to expect anyone else to be either.)'
Starting a war with Iraq only made it worse. Now massive amounts of our resources go abroad daily to a country that essentially needs us -- to rebuild its ENTIRE infrastructure. Meanwhile, we can barely support ourselves. Our neighbors meanwhile don't think very highly of us for waltzing in and toppling a sovereign nation. And the ones that aren't a democracy ... the horrors of all-out war pales in comparison to terrorists.
So yeah, fault lies very much with Bush & Co. Through arrogance, stupidity, irresponsibility, and a lengthy list (books!) of terms that aren't remotely flattering.
As for Barack Obama -- are you a fortune teller? His job hasn't begun yet. So spare us from listening to conspiratorial drivel. Come January 20, then AND only then can anyone even begin to scrutinize what his administration is doing to set us on a new path.
Mind you, it's going to take a very, very, very -- have I emphasized VERY? -- long time to do so. There won't be any easy solutions. And if he holds to his word, the power holders are going to get angry -- powerful people rarely admit fault or take responsibility until being held to the fire. Gov't alone won't end the cycle. WE all have to take a role.
So should you have the gall to criticize the Obama administrations efforts, I pray YOU are taking an active role in helping to rebuild our economy, our image, and everything that makes us American. If not, your opinions really count for nothing, and you're the prime example of everything that is truly un-American and what got us where we are today.
