Whos the actor who plays him?

Nathan's sounds the flatest to me, the others sound whiny/nasally or muffled. I do like the way Wash sounds but I think that's just because I like Alan Tudyk. See 8 other replies

Don't know how I missed Firefly when it was on the air. It is good on the order of Stargate: SG1.

My only complaint is that too much of the show is shot in poor lighting. Sure, it add "realism" if you can have such a thing in a sci-fi show but it just makes it less pleasant to watch.

I love the intros to each of the episodes giving the preliminary background...they don't have that in the dvd's.

I'm sure it was budget related, but I do appreciate that they took the time to make it make sense also. See 17 other replies

The full name of the Alliance is the Anglo-Sino Alliance. Joss felt that in a future Earth, the U.S. Government and the Chinese Government could come together as a global power, and then with the terraforming, it makes sense that the global power on Earth would wish to maintain that power on the new earths. It's why there is such a blend of Christianity with Buddhism, English with Chinese, and Old Western with Chinese fashions. The Alliance's flag is even a blending of the U.S. and Chinese flags. This is one of the most entertaining shows I've had the pleasure to watch. Bought the series and the movie. There are a few series that have been short lived that truly great to watch. Dirt, Dirty, Sexy Money to name a couple. Too bad good entertainment is not recognized by those who fund it. They are losing money on me........don't watch TV anymore because it is so inane. Sad to see Hulu has cut but the first five episodes. Why I went out and bought it.
