A rather far-fetched episode finds the Ironside crew wheel-deep in adobe squalor but sporting some kicky fiesta threads as they head down ol' Mexico way to find a supposedly dead artist/murder suspect who happens to be an old chum of the Chief's. In spite of the change of scenery there's not much to get excited about here, except for some interesting camera work near the beginning, as the team "paints a picture" of the murder scene and the bodies fade in and out of sight for the viewer. As far as the guest stars, a creaky Broderick Crawford has maybe four minutes of screen time, someone named William Burns--very cute in a 70's Playgirl centerfold kind of way--gives a low-key-verging-on-comatose perfomance as the artist in question, and Lady Gaga is his alocoholic wife. Why was the character of the wife's sister necessary for the story, again?
