Good 2nd season entry takes Ironpants into the hills of the Sierras and what feels an awful lot like "Gunsmoke" or "The Big Valley" territory.
The Chief and Mark go to visit an old hermit and Mark does some heavy lifting in the sun, shirtless, while Ironpants watches. A crooked lawman and landowners put the Chief in a tight spot, and he makes a break for it, sans wheels. Ed and Eve are really only in this in the beginning and very end; see Eve try to pack a pick-a-nick basket and fail.
This was a fairly suspenseful and engrossing ep, mainly showcasing Ironpants' resourcefulness in and out of his chair. You really want to hiss the villains, especially the sheriff. It also has fun with some shots with a fish-eye lens and unusual camera angles.
