Ok and the horses head that was found in the bed in The God Father wasn't the same as the horse that they showed earlier in the film (notice the white patch of hair on the nose.) You'll find stuff like that in any show or film   See 1 other reply

I should think that a man who could still be true to his wife would be thought to be a good thing and not bashed as unrealistic or not possible. I find it refreshing that a man could be principled enough to honor his vows especially given the time away from his beloved Susanna. And one doesn't necessarily need to be a ridgit middle-aged Christian to be able to enjoy this program. It can also be for a much less ridgid lapsed Catholic who just wants something on TV that she and her family can watch and enjoy. There are plenty of other programs that hash and re-hash all the social-econimical gunk that is prevalent. Crusoe is fun, fantasy swash and buckle with a decent underlying base that is moral and stable, not debased. And it's not that they are treating Friday as he is retarded. One must realize the time this is set in. What Crusoe and Friday have figured out is what they must now educate those they encounter who can be shown another way to view Friday. Remember the Captain's wife, she finally realized that not only was Friday an okay person but that ultimately once she realized he was not a savage and took time to actually know and understand him that she was intrigued by him and wanted to learn more. My suggestion would be to watch the program for the fun of it and not feel the need to force it to fit some pre-conceived idea of what one thinks it is. Just let it be what it is. . .a very creatively written and produced family-friendly program that reflects honor and humility between people trying to make a difference by acceptance of those things that are different between them and then in single-purpose strive to survive and then to get off that darned island. =^) No insult directed towards anyone or prior comments was intended by these comments. Oh yea, both of these guys are very attractive. And it would soothe an american audience to see the beautiful interacial best friends and their many journeys. Its differant than the book, but man it is tailored to a really white chickish audience. I still get a little pissed off at the roles here, friday is a native but once again.....hes not retarded. they really gotta stop alking to him like so.   See 2 other replies
