A basic question in life is what does it mean to be human? That we know we are alive? That we are sorry for our transgressions?
I think the question of this movie is if you are made to do something by the laws of your land, does that make you.. well, what they are. Think of the guards for us in Cuba. I'm a former Marine and just because I am ordered to do something doesn't mean I agree with it. If we write off the hard questions as racist or inflammatory just because they are asked then we have thrown away a very important part of our soul. Is it so inconceivable that there is such a thing as a good person pushed into wrong doing? And please try to remember a few years back there was a show introduced that a good number of Jews said was anti-Semitic, South Park. The two guys that made, own the rights to, and still make it? Jews. Great thinkers, though when people laugh at the works they forget the thought behind it. Just my two cents. See 1 other reply
