This was one of the "network killed shows" where for one reason or another the networks did not like it so the only time slots it was given was late at night. This was not the first, nor the last, show to suffer this fate. I have noticed that Johnathan Glassner was one of the executive producers of this show and I truly feel that this was one of the factors in why the show was so good.
The first season showed how small the budget was by the way of a few "less than special" effects (using strings on branches to show movement). Despite this by the second season everything had come to gather and started to show it's true potential, just in time for the networks to kill it.
Also, it is true a lot of people missed out because of lack of cable. Why a real network never picked it up is beyond me! If it would have aired on NBC, we would all still be enjoying it! Just that thought alone pisses me off.
