The stress of being to kind to haruka and trying to care for her because her condition was his fault caused Takayuki pain, but the person that got hurt the most was Mitsuki, she deserved to be with Takayuki. They were together for two years before Haruka woke up, compared to takayuki being with Haruka for less than a year (btw a highschool romance is nothing compared to adults who lived and shared thier lives together). I hope i have said enough for you and anyone else that feels the same way, to appreciate Mitsuki and understand the bond between Takayuki and her.   See 8 other replies

Mitsuki cared for Takayuki, during the aftermath of the accident, Takayuki was consumed with guilt, he didn't love Haruka but the accident was his fault. Mitsuki is not selfish for pursuing a relationship with takayuki, nor is takayuki for complying. Everything was going good untill Haruka's sister called about Harulka waking up. Takayuki felt compelled by his over-bearing guilt and visited her and agreed to try to make her recovery easier. Mitsuki red his constant visits and absent-mindedness as love for haruka when in fact he was very much in love with Mitsuki, though so many things were happening at once for him to realize it; stress from work, Haruka's feelings for him, Haruka's sister's rash confrontations, Harukas's parents wanting him to continue to visit. This show really had me worried that Mitsuki would break up with Takayuki and when she did what she did with Shinji I was so upset. But i'm very glad that enough people slapped some sense into takayuki to try to confront Mitsuki and finally tell her what should have been told to her so so long ago. That he was in love with her, not haruka. And besides why even root for haruka, the relationship between Haruka and Takayuki was not even good enough to call a romantic relationship. I mean honestly can you even imagine if your high school gf went into a coma for three years and to add to that, you havent even been dating that long   See 8 other replies
