I think they are stretching the boundaries of believability. It is our job as viewers to suspend our beliefs in order for shows like this to appear "real" and draw us in to the plot and the character's lives. The forgot this when they cast a hairdresser in L. A. who isn't the slightest bit effeminate.
The same thing with the "reflections" in the intro. The producers really are out of touch with reality on these points.

This series is picking up steam. Thank Goodness! I really appreciate the talent & it's a relief to see it being put to good use. JG is doing a great job of Working this this character. Good job with the Direction, obv. 0=)

Why don't the networks run these shows by hulu prior to making the mistake of cancelling a show.Goldblum at his best. Really an underated actor due to years of annoying characters. This character allows him to exhibit a full range of his talent; funny, compassionate, serious, intelligent, wry, and sexy. I love how the stories are Chandleresque, film noir. All the archetypes are there, only modernized without being stereotyped. This is no "Dead Man Wear Plaid". All the beautiful women, Los Angeles, criminals and cops are brilliant modern adaptations of a great detective/ murder mystery genre. Love that they keep the gore to a minimum and the music adds to the storyline rather than overpowers it or becomes another character. Shame on the idiots that cancelled this show! But thank you hulu!!!!

Awesome episode!! Very original storyline. Still can't believe it was canceled.
