This and many like it that are great shows. There is just one problem with them. They require a person to think a bit. The American public doesn't want to think, they want to be fed mind numbing pablum so that they can comprehend what they are talking about the next day. If they can't understand a concept like irony or anything else above a 5th grade education then they have nothing to talk about. Maybe if Jeff dressed up in a clown suit and danced the macerena and had morons vote for him, yeah the show would have lasted.
People really are idiots. And it's so unfortunate for the remaining 6% of the public who like quality.

Anything good is 100 percent guaranteed to be cancelled. The general population in America are fuktarded. It hurts me when I see a good show on TV because I KNOW it just won't survive.

annap - you are right on in your comment. I could agree with you more. Everytime there is a great series with real actors it get cancelled. I certainly don't think the networks give a crap about what their viewers think. At least I got all of the episodes from HULU.

This episode had so much insight into human nature, the false assumptions we make, and the consequences of greed.

The ending was a big surprise to me, and kind of a disappointment because there was so much natural chemistry between the detective and the perp. I thought maybe something would come of it.

Madeleine Stowe used to be a great actress but it looks like botox has shut down her facial expressions. I find her performance totally dull and dry.
