I wonder if the Writer(s) of this show ever saw the "Frame Of Mind" episode from Star Trek TNG. It was a trail-blazing storyline which used lucid hallucinations to practical affect.
Raines' mind induces a realtime composite of the victim, the details and history of which are being constantly added to. It starts off with a blank representaion, and as more insights are gained, becomes a quasi sentient being in their own right. What is true about the vic is formated in and untrue is refined out- as if House's differential board could get up, walk, talk and follow him around the Hospital.
This is Sci-Fi bedrock here, and to its credit this show is fat fat fat with potential. Wait until he has to condend with and profile a villain/psychopath/terrorist.
THANK YOU
