This series had an interesting premise, and Jeff Goldblum, who I've always enjoyed, was perfect in this role. I saw a couple of episodes when it was briefly aired, but, if I remember right, it was in a bad time slot on Friday nights. I was usually out then. Anyway, this show was NOT given a proper launch or a chance to succeed as so many good shows aren't. Network execs need to get their heads out of their asses and stop panicking whenever a show doesn't pull in huge numbers in the first couple of weeks and give them a chance to grow a following. Good shows such as this one should be given a chance. Advertising and better time slots would help. Shows such as Cheers and Seinfeld were not ratings darlings in the beginning, but grew to become two of the biggest shows in TV history when they got their chances. If TV execs aren't willing to give all their shows a chance to shine, they should not greenlight them in the first place.
