Westin, Olbermann's show is a response to the obvious and shameless bias on the part of Fox News. By copying the emotional and abrasive over-the-top style of the Fox News anchors, he (hopefully) demonstrates to Republicans just how ridiculous Fox's idea of "journalism" and "news" really is. Anyone who despises Olbermann but enjoys Fox News is just showing how blinded by their bias they really are. Olbermann is nothing more than a copy of O'Reilly, just with a different bias.As for Olbermann's sincerity, I'm positive he knows what he's doing isn't really journalism. That's the whole point. He's copying everything that is bad about Fox News. Where was this hyperbole and emotion when he was a reporter for ESPN? He knows how to be a serious journalist, but that is not his goal with his show on NBC.Personally I hate both Fox News and Olbermann's show, but I respect what Olbermann is doing. The anchors on Fox News however have no excuse for the vile hatred they spew with no regard for the truth.Anyway, I chuckle a little every time I hear a right-winger hate on Olbermann while praising Fox News, and I'm sure Olbermann does too. If they are too blind too see just how terrible Fox News is, I'm not surprised they don't see the irony.BTW, I'm not implying you are ignorant since you didn't say whether you liked Fox News or not.
