ok, people, the main problem with dubbing, whether live or anime (or anything else for that matter) is that they try to match the motion of the speaker's mouth. which means even the best dubs sometimes aren't all that. i've always preferred subbed stuff (including foreign films, not just anime) because they generally try harder to match the actual dialog. also, there's generally two separate dubs. one is the same as the english dubbed version, the other is the 'good' one. all that said, i'm much too much of an anime addict to miss out on something because they don't have it in my preferred format. but then again, japanese voice actors are justly famous, got to give credit where it's due. case in point, kagome (inuyasha) does NOT sound fifteen in the english version.   See 41 other replies

I stopped watching dubbed anime a few years ago so I'm giving this series a shot, despite being from FUNimation. I'm actually happy with the dub. If you want subs, go to FUNimation's site. We're not being charged for this service so complaining is pretty much useless   See 41 other replies

I always liked the sub but at times i would miss something good as i would be reading and i guess that i can read just as fast as the next guy .So now I go with dub no mater how bad it is and I have saw some bad ones.   See 41 other replies
