Of all the episodes of Picket Fences I watched in high school this is the one that I remember most. The writers seemed to have a way of creating these perfect little conflicts that could make you switch sides like three times before the episode was done. This one is the quintessential picket fences conundrum. Sheriff's kid gets head in toilet by a bully: kid deserves revenge, kid almost kills bully with a potato gun: bully deserves revenge, kid gets shot by bully's little brother, kid deserves revenge. So perfectly gut wrenching.
